Jay, Manager, IHA Tattoo Instructor / Artist, TaPS Certified
Manager, TPGoC | Tattoo Instructor / Artist, IHA | TaPS Certified. The tattoo culture seemed less stuffy & pretentious then the fine art crowd. BlackSheep was a fitting name for a baby clothing line we had in anticipation of our sons arrival & it sat well with the under brow art influences that shaped my early passion, 00's digital art, 90's tattooing, 80's breakdancing & graffiti murals & graphics, 70's rock poster lettering, My sisters Easy Rider magazine collection, Frozen Ocean Surf & Snowboards' mountain imagery, just to mention a few. Tattooing has changed throughout the time I have been around. I can not say I have a specialty as fads have gone & come back. Adaptation & variety just seem like the normal necessary process for me to continue to learn & I still love it & respect it. I would be lying if I said, the only reason I continue to tattoo is YOU, But you are a BIG prominent of this adventure. Oh, I also paint, & I started to go to galleries again...Hope to see you soon.
